Part Time Receptionist

Job Description: Details $20 per hour pay rate Part Time ~15 hours per week Onsite in Valhalla, NY Schedule: Tues, Wed, Thurs, from 8:15 a.m. - 1:15 p.m Contract What's in it for you? Only considering candidates with the following: High School Diploma Experience in a similar receptionist role Friendly, organized, customer service oriented. Must have the ability to interact comfortable within a corporate office. Requires computer knowledge of Microsoft Responsibilities: Provide a professional, friendly demeanor to all that enter and who need assistance Assist with visitors (both internal and external) Ensure usage of iLobby sign-in/sign-out system and that name badges are produced Greet guests and walk them through the sign-in process; provide information on our space and recycling policies (Visitor's Guide) Announce guests as needed (many will have already emailed their host to advise they're onsite) Prepare and adjust the visitor/conference schedule and keep the Facilities Team updated Perform daily checks of lights, temperature, and room setup to meet organizer's expectations Ensure TEAMS equipment is visible on wall monitors and in working order Meet with Support Services lead to prep for daily or weekly activities Facilitate scheduling of meetings or training classes in conference rooms using Outlook 365 Desktop version (assist employees as needed) Educate meeting organizers on catering options/menus for onsite breakfasts and lunches (hosts are responsible for ordering and payment) Contact IT for equipment questions/issues with TEAMS meetings as required Report facility-related repairs to Support Services for forwarding to landlord; act as liaison with building management for service-related requests Manage pantry area by conference rooms and monitor supplies Manage the reception Smiles photo display/kiosk by replenishing supplies and placing service calls Serve as safety lead for the floor during fire drills or building evacuations; responsible for sweeping the floor (including bathrooms) before evacuation Assist supervisor with projects as needed Facilitate employee events in coordination with the Social Committee and/or HR/Benefits (e.g., employee festivals, health workshops, bagel breakfasts) Assist mailroom with miscellaneous mail distribution Assist other departments with administrative tasks as needed (e.g., scanning, meeting preparation) $20.00 / hr HV23 #J-18808-Ljbffr
