Job Description
Respiratory Therapist - Night Shift (3x12-Hour & 5x8-Hour)

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Mix of 12-hour shifts (7pm-7am) and 8-hour shifts (11pm-7am). Every other weekend required.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist with a focus on critical care to join our team. The candidate will operate in a tobacco and fragrance-free facility and may provide care for patients, including those affected by COVID-19. The selected candidate will be evaluated by clinical staff to ensure clinical fit and adherence to guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory assessments and administer appropriate treatments.
• Manage ventilators and provide assistance in high-risk delivery scenarios.
• Engage in patient education related to respiratory care.
• Monitor and evaluate patient response to therapy.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required; CRTE not accepted.
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
• BLS and NRP certifications required.
• Travel experience is required.
