Fraud Analyst/Admin

Job Title: Fraud Analyst/Admin Duration: 12+ Months Location: Plano, TX (Hybrid) Pay rate: $39/hr on W2 Job Description What we’re looking for: Looking for a candidate with experience and specific skills relevant to the job. Proficiency in investigative tools (such as TLO/LexisNexis), analytical skills, critical thinking, time management, attention to detail, and administrative functions. What you’ll be doing: The Investigator will receive and review suspicious activity and fraud alerts daily that need to be cleared, researched and/or investigated. The Investigator will need to determine if the customer who claimed ID theft is a victim of fraud or are they attempting to breach the vehicle/payment obligation. Will review claims and make dispositions if it is fraud or attempt at credit washing. There are cases where an organization’s vehicle has been stolen, and recovery efforts must be made. The Investigator may need to work with Law Enforcement (LE) to help complete the recovery process. Conduct fraud investigations, SSN updates, skip tracing, collections, and recovery. Perform administrative tasks as needed, examples included but not limited to: create investigations for the team, daily reporting of confirmed and suspected fraud, manage the general fraud email, process physical and electronic mail. Provide ad hoc reporting as needed. Assist the Fraud Control Department in identifying current Fraud trends/rings. Special projects as assigned by Manager.
