Managing Consultant, Data Scientist

Salary: $167,000 - 225,000 per year Requirements:

• We expect 3+ years of experience leading teams to design, develop, and deploy scaled, high-performance AI/ML solutions, preferably in sensitive environments.
• We look for experience leading Agile AI/ML teams, including AI incubators, along with a strong track record of guiding data science teams and mentoring junior data scientists.
• We require experience developing and deploying Generative AI applications in high-security settings.
• We seek 9+ years of experience in predictive analytics using languages such as Python or Scala.
• We require 9+ years of experience applying data science methods such as clustering analysis, anomaly detection, tree-based models, ensemble methods, and neural networks.
• We prefer experience monitoring model performance throughout the product development lifecycle, as well as using AI/ML pipeline management and tracking tools such as MLflow and Databricks.
• We expect proficiency with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL, plus big data platforms like Hadoop and Spark, including querying multiple source systems.
• We require experience using natural language processing techniques, including Generative AI.
• Experience applying advanced analytics for fraud detection and prevention is preferred.
• We need excellent communication skills for engaging stakeholders at all levels, including executives.
• We value self-motivation, strong task management, accurate time estimation, and a continuous learning mindset focused on emerging data science technologies.
• Familiarity with DevOps Research and Assessment (DORA) and its capabilities is encouraged.
• Experience working in an Agile Scrum framework is required.

• We oversee data acquisition and integration while maintaining data quality and reliability.
• We apply and refine machine learning and predictive modeling approaches to solve complex business problems.
• We guide the deployment and integration of predictive models into business applications.
• We develop strategies to improve model performance and monitor it over time.
• We present findings and recommendations to executives, translating complex data concepts into practical business actions.
• We mentor and support junior and senior team members in data science methods and best practices.
• We influence data governance and best practices across the organization.
• We work directly with client stakeholders to define analysis goals and turn them into actionable outcomes.
