Cath Lab Tech

This position involves working in a cardiac cath lab. Required skills include performing both diagnostic and interventional procedures. Experience with cardiac stent placement and catheterizations is essential. The Cath Lab Tech will also be responsible for patient monitoring and IV therapy. The role requires knowledge of emergency medications and procedural sedation. Professionals will work with various cardiac diagnoses such as coronary artery disease. The candidate should have good clinical skills and the ability to work as part of a team. Additional preferred skills include experience with advanced procedures and equipment. The tech will work a block schedule with a call requirement. Candidates must be open to floating as needed within the facility. The tech will be expected to adhere to safety protocols and infection prevention standards. This position may involve occasional late shifts. Candidates must have ACLS and BLS certifications. Completion of pre-start modules and orientation is required prior to starting.
