What You’ll Be Doing As the Front Desk Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth operations and exceptional guest experiences. Your responsibilities will include: Leading with professionalism and positivity : Guide the front desk team to deliver outstanding service. Supporting daily hotel operations : Assist the General Manager with day-to-day tasks. Hiring and training : Participate in interviewing, onboarding, and training new team members. Providing backup coverage : Step in to support the front desk and night audit as needed. Ensuring smooth communication : Act as the main link between front desk staff and management. Maintaining high standards : Oversee the front desk and lobby appearance, monitor staff compliance with uniforms, and uphold franchise and company standards. Maximizing hotel performance : Participate in yield management to optimize occupancy and average daily rates. Responding to guest needs : Collaborate with all departments to ensure guest satisfaction. Administrative tasks : Prepare reports, maintain office supply inventory, and address PMS issues. Fostering safety and knowledge : Train staff on safety procedures and property tours. What We’re Looking For To succeed in this role, you’ll need to bring a combination of skills, experience, and a can-do attitude. Here’s what we’re looking for: Required Skills and Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED. At least 1 year of experience in a relevant role. Strong communication skills and a customer service mindset. Detail-oriented, accurate, and able to multitask under pressure. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (preferred) and the ability to learn new systems. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and type 50 words per minute (preferred). Experience with hotel property management systems (PMS) is a plus. Availability to work occasional evenings and weekends. Personal Competencies: Positive attitude and team-oriented approach.
