We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Westfield Quality Care of Aurora, a leading long-term nursing facility in Aurora, NE. As a valued member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents.
About the Role:
As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will be responsible for:
Providing direct patient care, including assisting with daily living activities, transferring patients, and recording vital signs
Maintaining a clean and safe environment for our residents
Working closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized care plans
Communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
Participating in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with industry best practices
Responsibilities:
Provide skilled nursing care to residents in accordance with their individualized care plans
Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
Use assistive devices and equipment as needed to promote patient safety and mobility
Administer medications and treatments as directed by the nursing staff
Document patient care and progress in accordance with facility policies and procedures
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care

Requirements:
Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Nebraska
High school diploma or equivalent required
Ability to lift, transfer, and move patients as needed
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
