Sea Ranch Sushi 518 Dempster St Evanston, IL 60202, USA Description Key Responsibilities: Assist in preparing fresh ingredients for sushi, ramen, donburi, and other traditional Japanese dishes Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards across all kitchen stations Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and other food items as directed Keep prep and storage areas organized and well-stocked Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly Assist chefs with basic cooking or plating tasks as needed Follow all food safety protocols and health department regulations Washes Dishes Qualifications: Previous kitchen or food prep experience is a plus Ability to work quickly, efficiently, and cleanly in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills and a positive team-oriented attitude Punctual, dependable, and able to follow instructions carefully Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs Why Work With Us?
