Job Summary
Physical Therapist Outpatient Burke, Virginia. This role involves evaluating outpatient patients, developing and modifying individualized treatment plans, and ensuring functional recovery while adhering to safety and professional standards. The position requires a minimum of two years of outpatient clinical experience and a valid physical therapy license.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school; two years of outpatient clinical experience; CPR certification; licensure in good standing; ability to meet state practice act and regulatory requirements; no previous experience needed outside of the specified two-year outpatient experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred; no new graduate candidates; six months placement experience preferred.
- Float: Not specified; therefore, not applicable.
- Additional Information: Responsibilities include completing comprehensive patient evaluations, developing and implementing treatment plans, documenting progress accurately and timely, and participating in student programs. Candidates should be committed to professional development, adhere to ethical and regulatory standards, and be active in quality improvement initiatives. Focus on safety in patient handling, infection control, and workplace hazards is essential.
