Responsibilities As a Technical Tower II, you are responsible for installing, maintaining, and operating cable, wireless, fiber optic, and microwave telecommunications equipment and systems. You believe in doing the job correctly, being the best, and are willing to face challenges. Other responsibilities will be:

• Understand and implement the Health, Safety, and Environment Policies of MasTec Communications Group (MNS) (Safety Manual).
• Understand and implement industry standards (OSHA, TIA10-48, NATE CTS, and ANSI).
• Climb towers and ladders to various heights.
• Carry out the erection of various types of towers.
• Download material and inventory.
• Prepare and clean sites.
• Install new carriers on new and existing towers.
• Help in the erection of towers using helicopters, cranes, and guy wires.
• Help in the assembly of the monohull, of all self-supporting and braced towers.
• Help in the installation of parabolic microwave antennas from 1 to 15 feet, VHF, UHF, cellular, and FM broadcast.
• Help in the installation of transmission lines and dielectric foam/air coaxial cables, hard cables, and elliptical wave guides.
• Help in the installation of all aspects of site bases, grounding, and ducts, with electrical installations when appropriate.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

Qualifications About you: Safety is part of your daily routine. You have a history of completing work with a high level of quality. You have the ability to solve difficult problems and enjoy a practical approach to your work. You seek long-term projects. You enjoy getting your hands dirty with your equipment. You have a high school diploma or equivalent, with at least 2 years of experience. You have the ability to read, understand, and carry out instructions according to plans. You have practical knowledge of safety norms and regulations. Possessing a PWSA certification is an advantage. You must be able to climb towers, lift up to 50 pounds, and be able to work up to 12 hours. You must have a valid driver's license and a driving record that meets the company's policy conditions.
