Private Wealth Senior Counsel

Husch Blackwell LLP is a national law firm with multiple locations across the United States, dedicated to our clients and the industries they serve. We have an immediate opening for a Private Wealth Senior Counsel with a minimum of eight years of experience preferred. We will consider candidates for any of our offices, including our virtual office, The Link, however, candidates in Dallas, Kansas City, Los Angeles, Milwaukee, Nashville, or St. Louis are strongly preferred. The candidate should have significant experience designing and implementing sophisticated estate plans, including assisting individual and business clients with all aspects of wealth management, asset protection, and gift and estate tax issues. In this position, the candidate will need strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality, personalized service. The candidate will work primarily with attorneys in our Financial Services & Capital Markets business unit. The ideal candidate will have excellent academic credentials, a commitment to the community, superior interpersonal skills and a demonstrated record of working well under pressure. The candidate should demonstrate exceptional judgment, the ability to effectively handle multiple projects, and the ability to articulate legal strategies and courses of action. Candidates should have an active bar license in the state corresponding with the office to which they are applying or commit to obtaining one as soon as possible. We offer competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefit package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) and much more. Pursuant to applicable state laws, the compensation range for this position in California, Colorado, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Washington, and Washington, D.C. only is $185,000 - $275,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Salaries in all other markets will vary depending on market data.
