Senior Mortgage Loan Processor

Responsibilities Compile and audit all loan information to submit to underwriting, collect conditions, and coordinate the file to closing. Verify and audit all loan documents and information provided by the customer and loan officer. Process the loan to submit to underwriting, which includes review of appraisal and all supporting documents in the loan file. Collect and audit conditions received. Prepare files for closing, auditing title work, survey, Flood, CIP, Fraud Guard, and HOI. Work closely with the title company and loan officer to get documents and the closing disclosure prepared in a timely manner. Review the closing disclosure and communicate changes needed to close with the loan officer and closer. Follow up with closing to ensure all items required for funding the loan have been received. Ensure all compliance regulations have been met. Order all documents needed for loan files such as appraisal, title, insurance, flood, CIP, Fraud Guard, and verify their completion. Handle more complex loan programs such as Seth, VA, and TSACH loans. Mentor new loan processors as they are hired and acclimated. Qualifications High school graduate or equivalent. Understanding of mortgage loan processing functions, including FHA, VA, and Conventional mortgage lending. Experience with Encompass software is preferred. Knowledge of mortgage related requirements, procedures, and underwriting criteria. Five or more years’ experience in mortgage loan processing. Good verbal and public relations skills. Strong typing abilities. Good basic math skills. Proficient use of related computer applications. Well organized. #J-18808-Ljbffr
