Registered Nurse - Rehabilitation

Schedule
Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
Holidays: Must be willing to work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)

Requirements
- Valid RN license required
- Minimum of 2 years total RN experience
- 1 year of rehabilitation experience required
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- Epic charting experience required

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to adults and geriatric patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting.
- Assess patient needs and develop individual care plans in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.
- Monitor and evaluate patient conditions, implementing appropriate interventions as necessary.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and aftercare.
- Participate in daily interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss progress and treatment goals.
- Ensure compliance with safety and documentation standards.

Compliance / Notes
- Orientation: 40 hours
- Submission requirements: Include SSN, DOB, RTO at time of submission
- Documentation required pre-start: Copy of certifications, Epic charting confirmation, 2 references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
- Local rules: 50-mile radius rule applies; submission allowed to one location within region
- Candidates should research housing options as they are limited in the area.
