Job Details Location: Peoria, IL 61605 Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,110 - $2,220 Setting: Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) / Med Surg Employment Type: Travel Nurse Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift Duration: 12-hour nights Shifts Per Week: 3 shifts per week Hours Per Week: 36 guaranteed hours Schedule: Every other weekend and holiday rotation as needed Charting System: EPIC Job Requirements Active Illinois RN license or confirmation that the application process has been initiated At least 1 year of Registered Nurse experience preferred BLS required; ACLS preferred Experience with PEG tube care and feedings, CVC/PICC/midline care, and tracheostomy patients Ability to titrate drips, including heparin Comfort working with complex med-surg and LTAC patient populations Availability to provide requested time off and meet submission requirements Must be willing to complete a negative drug screen Responsibilities Deliver safe, compassionate nursing care to patients with respiratory failure, post-surgical needs, wound care needs, IV antibiotics, post-CVA conditions, post-trauma recovery, and cardiac diagnoses Perform ongoing assessments, monitor patient status, and respond quickly to changes in condition Administer medications and manage titratable therapies according to clinical guidelines Provide care for tracheostomy patients and manage central access devices with confidence Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support patient recovery and discharge planning Float as needed to other units within scope, including ICU and Acute Rehab Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC and follow unit protocols Why Consider This Travel Nursing Job in Peoria?
