Job Summary:
\tWe are seeking a Patient Access Coordinator to support patient registration, scheduling, admissions, insurance verification, and customer service in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and committed to providing an excellent patient experience.
Responsibilities:
\tRegister and admit patients accurately.
\tVerify insurance eligibility and obtain authorizations.
\tSchedule appointments and maintain patient records.
\tCollect patient payments and update demographic information.
\tAnswer phones and assist patients with registration and billing inquiries.
\tCoordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow.
\tMaintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications:
\tHigh school diploma or GED required.
\tAt least 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting.
\tPrevious Patient Access, Registration, Admissions, or Medical Office experience preferred.
\tExperience with Epic or other EHR systems preferred.
\tStrong computer, communication, and customer service skills.
