A health services organization in New York City is seeking a licensed Family Medicine Physician to join their inpatient behavioral health facility in Brooklyn.

About the Opportunity:

• Shift: Day
• Schedule: Monday to Friday (or weekend and evening coverage, depending on assignment)
• Hours: Standard business hours; evening and weekend hours may apply
• Setting: Inpatient Adult Mental Health

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive medical care to adult patients in an inpatient psychiatric setting
• Examine patients, review medical histories, and assess current health concerns
• Order, interpret, and analyze diagnostic tests and examinations
• Diagnose conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans
• Prescribe medications and other treatments, and provide health guidance to patients

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of relevant experience
• Valid license to practice medicine in the State of New York
• Valid Federal Narcotics Number
• Medicare and Medicaid enrollment in New York State

Board Certified or Board Eligible Medical Doctor with or w/o US residency with current US work visa.
