Hardeetown Baptist Church is prayerfully seeking a passionate, Christ-centered leader to serve as our next Associate Pastor for Students (Grades pre-k to 12). We are looking for a servant-hearted minister who loves Jesus, believes in the power of the Gospel, and desires to invest deeply in students and their families. This individual will provide spiritual leadership, discipleship, vision, and oversight for a growing student ministry while partnering with our Senior Pastor and church family to fulfill the Great Commission.

• Committed to evangelism and sharing the Gospel both locally and beyond
• A relational leader who connects well with students, parents, volunteers, and church members
• A team player who enjoys serving alongside church staff and ministry leaders
• Organized, dependable, and capable of managing multiple ministry responsibilities
• Committed to the doctrines of the Baptist Faith and Message 2000

Minimum Qualifications

• Prefer Bible college graduate and/or seminary, or equivalent of at least four years of ministry experience
• Demonstrated ability to build meaningful relationships across generations
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• A heart for community outreach and local ministry engagement
• Understanding of childhood and adolescent development and student ministry dynamics
• A desire to help students authentically live out their faith in everyday life

Ministry Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, vision, and oversight for the student ministry
• Teach and disciple students through weekly Bible studies and worship opportunities
• Recruit, train, mentor, and encourage adult and student volunteers
• Plan and lead mission projects, outreach events, and evangelistic opportunities
• Build strong relationships with students, parents, and church members
• Assist the Senior Pastor in carrying out the ministries of the church as needed, including preaching, visitation, administration, and pastoral care
• Coordinate and communicate student ministry activities through regular calendars and reports, newsletters, social media…
• Pursue ongoing ministry training and professional development
