Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to ascertain the mental health needs of clients, subsequently designing tailored treatment plans to guide therapeutic interventions.
• Provide a range of evidence-based therapy services, including individual, group, and family counseling sessions, employing various therapeutic modalities to effectively address a spectrum of mental health concerns.
• Work closely with case managers, psychiatrists, and multidisciplinary professionals to ensure clients receive cohesive and comprehensive care.
• Respond to emergency situations with crisis intervention strategies, offering immediate support and guidance to clients in acute distress.
• Participate in community outreach and educational efforts aimed at promoting mental health awareness, reducing stigma, and offering resources to underserved populations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Mental Health Counselor at Vibrant Healing, you will work with a diverse clientele that reflects various cultural, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Your interactions will not only enhance your clinical competencies but will also enrich your understanding of complex mental health issues as you tailor your therapeutic approach to meet the individual needs of each client.

Qualifications

• An independent and active license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) is required.
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is mandatory.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are necessary, enabling you to forge strong therapeutic relationships with a diverse client base.
• Demonstrated cultural competence and sensitivity to work effectively with individuals across various backgrounds.
• Strong organizational skills are essential for maintaining accurate documentation and managing a busy therapy caseload.

Preferred Experience

• Experience delivering telehealth services is highly desirable, along with familiarity with virtual therapy platforms.
• A background in community mental health or experience addressing complex clinical cases will enhance your effectiveness in this role.
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices specific to mental health challenges like anxiety, depression, and trauma will be beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and credentials.
