RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) - Day Shift Location California Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule 3x12-Hour Shifts (06:00 - 18:30) with call required. Job Description The Cath Lab Registered Nurse will provide high-quality care in an adult cardiac catheterization laboratory that performs invasive diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures. The role involves participating in STEMI call and various cardiac procedures. Responsibilities Assist in performing left and right heart catheterizations, coronary angiography, and other interventional procedures. Monitor patients during invasive cardiovascular procedures and uphold safety standards. Administer conscious sedation and perform telemetry monitoring. Document patient care activities and procedures accurately using EPIC-Cupid and other relevant systems. Participate in call rotation, covering every fourth weekend and 1-2 weekdays. Maintain effective communication with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab RN. ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory. Proficiency in EPIC charting system is preferred.
