Hpc Storage Architect
We seek an innovative HPC Storage Architect to design, deploy, and manage high-performance storage environments centered on WekaIO technology. You'll architect solutions for AI/ML workloads, research computing, and data-intensive applications, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and reliability. This role combines technical leadership with hands-on engineering for mission-critical storage infrastructure.
This is a six month contract to hire position in Indianapolis. Candidate should reside or be willing to move to the Indianapolis metro area.
Technical Expertise:
- 10+ years experience in Linux Advanced Compute environments
- 5+ years managing parallel file systems (Weka, Lustre, GPFS, or BeeGFS)
- Proven Weka deployment/administration experience in production HPC environments
- Mastery of Linux storage stack, networking (InfiniBand/Ethernet), and scripting (Python/Bash)
Preferred Experience:
- Weka certification (e.g., Weka Certified Administrator)
- Containerized storage solutions (Kubernetes CSI drivers)
- Background in AI/ML or scientific computing environments
- Contributions to open-source storage projects
- Experience with Spectrum-X is a plus
