Education and Experience (Required) Licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant by the Maryland state Board of Physical Therapy Examiners. Graduate of an accredited university with a minimum degree of Associate in the Physical Therapy field that is recognized by CAPTE. Physical Requirements Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times. Duties require extensive standing and walking. Duties require lifting, positioning, pushing, and/or transferring patients. Duties require frequent reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, and crouching.
