Position Summary The Emergency Services Technician supports patient care and covers administrative and clinical procedures. Working in collaboration with a team of practitioners, you will ensure the best possible health‑care outcomes and patient experiences. Position Details

Shift: Evenings Schedule: 12‑hour shifts; alternating weekends Responsibilities Assist in providing direct patient care as directed by a health‑care practitioner. Engage critical thinking skills to maintain a safe, therapeutic, and aesthetic environment. Utilize the knowledge base of nursing education and experience to deliver nursing care using the nursing process in accordance with hospital policies, procedures, and protocols. Collaborate with the team to facilitate overall improvement in quality of care, patient experience, and cost reduction. Foster a learning environment for patients/families, nursing staff, and other members of the health‑care team. Advocate for ethical and holistic care, promoting the autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse ethnic and social backgrounds. Requirements High School Diploma or GED. Current Washington state certification/licensure as a CNA or NA‑R, MA‑P, MA‑C, or successful completion of EMT training course. MA‑P or EMT must obtain NA‑R within 90 days of hire. CNA, NA‑R, or EMT must obtain MA‑P by a specified date as determined by location; at Mary Bridge Hospital and Yakima locations the MA‑P is not required. Current BLS certification. Preferred: previous experience as a CNA, NA‑R, corpsman, or EMT in an emergency department, pre‑hospital, or acute‑care setting within the last three (3) years. Pay and Benefit Expectations We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including a competitive salary, medical, dental, and retirement benefits, and paid time off. The pay scale is $22.88 – $37.80 USD. Pay is influenced by factors such as skill set, level of experience, certification(s), and/or education.
