Assembly Technician

Assembly / Laborer - 1st ShiftPosition: Assembly / LaborerShift: 1st Shift (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM)Schedule: Monday - FridayWork Environment: Industrial manufacturing facility, clean and organized, non-climate controlledDress Code: Work boots and work pants requiredKey ResponsibilitiesPerform assembly, production, and finishing tasks.Use hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, and specialty tools during assembly.Operate power tools including grinders, impact guns, drills, and circular saws.Attach and assemble pre-manufactured components and parts.Drill holes and assist with fabrication processes.Load and unload materials from pallets, skids, and transport vehicles.Operate forklifts, hoists, lift beams, swivel hooks, and other lifting equipment.Move and secure materials to designated production areas.Read and follow verbal and written work instructions.Support production flow by forwarding completed work to the next department.Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs.Perform additional duties as assigned.Required QualificationsExperience in manufacturing, production, assembly, or industrial environments.Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.Experience with heavy lifting and physical labor.Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.Preferred QualificationsExperience with grinders, impact guns, and circular saws.Forklift operating experience.Painting experience for touch-up work.Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.Ability to read and write English for paperwork completion.What We OfferHealth InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsuranceLife InsuranceLong-Term Disability CoverageFlexible Spending Accounts (FSA)Employee Assistance Program (EAP)Paid Time Off (PTO)Paid HolidaysBereavement LeaveJury Duty LeaveIdeal CandidateReliable and punctual.Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Team-oriented with a strong work ethic.Safety-focused and detail-oriented.Willing to learn and grow within the organization.Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cinnaminson, NJ.Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
