Sr. Product Specialist

Responsibilities Lead special initiatives, small to mid‑scale initiatives, and ad‑hoc activities within the Healthfirst product portfolio. Collaborate and coordinate with internal business partners, contributors, and subject matter experts to ensure content is complete, accurate, and maximizes business opportunities. Support the Manager, Senior Manager, and Director with product initiative planning and execution, including collecting and organizing documentation for successful execution. Participate in product‑driven workgroups to provide input on product designs, enhancements, and implementation plans. Work closely with cross‑functional teams such as Enrollment & Billing, Claims, Member Services, Compliance, Sales, Finance, Clinical/Network Management, and senior management to implement new products, product enhancements, business implementations, and end‑to‑end process improvements. Plan, schedule, monitor, and report on activities related to projects or assignments, keeping all areas informed through written and oral reports. Ensure communication to all impacted areas and serve as the subject‑matter expert on product requirements for other business units. Perform additional duties as required. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience. Excellent communication skills and strong analytical ability. Ability to work cross‑functionally across departments. Adaptability to constant change and competing priorities; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strategic thinking while managing tactical execution. Excellent organizational and project‑management skills. Sense of urgency necessary to meet goals, objectives, and deadlines. Experience in Annual Notice of Change and Evidence of Coverage. Preferred Qualifications Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to work with people at varied management levels. Knowledge of company policy, procedures, and organizational structure. Compensation and Benefits Hiring Range*: Greater New York City Area (NY, NJ, CT residents): $81,100 – $117,470 All Other Locations (within approved locations): $71,600 – $106,505 Full range of benefits including medical, dental and vision coverage, incentive and recognition programs, life insurance, and 401(k) contributions (subject to eligibility requirements).
