About the Role:

HealthWealth Pharmacy in Houston, TX is looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Staff Pharmacist to join our 503A compounding pharmacy team. Responsibilities:

• Compound, verify, and dispense 503A patient-specific compounded medications in compliance with USP standards and state regulations
• Review and validate prescriptions for accuracy, appropriateness, and regulatory compliance
• Collaborate with prescribers and healthcare providers to optimize individualized patient therapy
• Supervise and mentor pharmacy technicians and support staff in daily compounding operations
• Maintain accurate patient profiles, compounding logs, and documentation in the pharmacy management system
• Ensure adherence to quality assurance protocols, beyond-use dating (BUD), and sterile/non-sterile compounding guidelines
• Counsel patients on proper medication use, storage, and potential side effects

Requirements:

• Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution
• Active and unrestricted Texas Pharmacist License (RPh)
• Multi- state licensure is a plus
• IV compounding experience (preferred)
• Knowledge of cGMP regulations as it pertains to 21 CFR 210, 21 CFR 211, and USP standards.
• Experience in 503A/B compounding pharmacy, including sterile and/or non-sterile compounding
• Strong knowledge of USP <795> , <797> , and <800> guidelines
• Familiarity with PCAB accreditation standards is a plus
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and patient counseling skills
