We're seeking a skilled individual to join our team as a Tool and Die Maker! This role involves fabricating and maintaining die components, interpreting blueprints, performing complex machining tasks (such as milling, engraving, and threading), and using precision tools like calipers and micrometers. Ideal candidates will have expertise with both manual and CNC machines, strong teamwork and independent work abilities, and a solid understanding of metal machining processes.Benefits of Working With UsCompetitive compensation including paid time off and holidays.Medical insurance (HDHP with HSA and PPO options)Prescription drug coverageDental and vision insurancePre-tax flexible spending account401(k) retirement savings with employer matchBasic and supplemental life and AD&D insuranceShort-term and long-term disability insurancePre-tax dependent care flexible spending accountWellness program with diabetes prevention, condition care, preventive care, and annual flu shot.Employee Assistance ProgramRequirementsMust have previous experience and/or ability to fabricate, repair, replace or properly install: Forming or guide rolls Shafts, bushings, sprockets, chains, and power transmission components Guarding and related safety devicesExperience with both manual and CNC machining equipmentMust have ability to read machine blueprints and assembly drawingsMust have, at minimum, a basic Machinist's tool set, including calipers and micrometers.Must be able to work well with others and provide project leadership on build and repair projectsPrevious machine building experience a plusMust be willing to work overtime when needed, including occasional weekendsDuties and ResponsibilitiesPossess ability to read and understand specifications such as blueprints, sketches, models, or written descriptions and determine materials required and machines to be used to fabricate parts or die components.Possess tool making skills with all shop equipment (milling, lathe, precision grinding, polishing, and fitting) and able to make parts to print.Possess advanced machining skills including milling, engraving, turning threads, boring holes or pockets, grinding flats, shoulders, or slots.Must be able to perform machining operations with a specified degree of accuracy and within a timely manner.Demonstrated proficiency in the use of precision measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, dial indicators, etc.Must be able to work in small teams or independently.Understand use and machining processes of a variety of different metals.Possess the ability to multi-task.Perform routine inspections, evaluations, and preventative maintenance of die sets.Perform additional repairs as needed.Assist production set-up personnel with tooling, press machine, and roll former troubleshooting.Rebuild and maintain primary roll forming, forming and ancillary equipment throughout the plant.Able to reverse engineer and manufacture die components within time limitations.QualificationsEducation: High school diploma or equivalentPosition Details Full Time Onsite – Mon-Friday 6:30AM - 3:00PM (30-min unpaid lunch) Located in: Lancaster, PAWe are proud of our commitment to equal employment opportunities for all qualified job candidates and associates and ask that all associates support diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
