Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: PCU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00-19:00 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN License Certifications: BLS Must-Have Skills/Experience: Cardiac experience Description: Travelers must have Cardiac Cath experience. Travelers must be able and willing to work all shift times; Days, Nights, and Mid shifts. The facility is a tertiary care regional referral hospital known for clinical excellence and nationally recognized patient outcomes. It offers specialized services including a regional Level 1 Trauma Center and High-risk Obstetrical Care. The facility provides a wide range of specialties including Cardiology, Critical Care, Diabetes Care, and Surgical Services. All candidates must have complete and clear screenings prior to start. Orientation is weekly, on Mondays. Candidates must be located 60 miles or greater to be considered for travel. Applicants must submit fingerprints before being cleared for employment. Required clearances must be obtained for employment. Position information includes Tele/PCU with a patient ratio of 1:5 for RN. Unit equipment includes Pacer Alines and uses EPIC for electronic health records. The patient population primarily consists of cardiac geriatric patients. The dress code includes scrubs in any color with specific guidelines for attire. A positive attitude is essential for this role.
