Key Responsibilities In your role as an LCSW, you will be responsible for numerous critical tasks that directly impact the lives of your clients. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments to accurately evaluate patients’ mental health needs and establish tailored treatment plans focused on their individual goals. Implementing a variety of therapeutic interventions—such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)—ensuring these techniques are personalized to effectively cater to each client's unique circumstances. Maintaining accurate clinical documentation that complies with HIPAA regulations while ensuring a seamless continuum of care for your clients. Facilitating open communication and collaboration with the treatment team to enhance patient care and share insights that lead to improved therapeutic outcomes. Engaging in regular case consultations and peer reviews to contribute to team learning and enhancement of treatment strategies. Providing psycho-education to clients and their families about mental health issues, treatment options, and available resources, empowering them to make informed choices. Staying current with the latest research and developments in mental health to integrate evidence-based practices into your therapeutic approach. Patient Population / Client Focus You will work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health challenges. Serving patients from various socio-economic backgrounds in the Escondido area, your role will be pivotal in offering culturally competent support and guidance tailored to the diverse needs of our community. Qualifications To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications: A Master’s degree in Social Work from a program accredited by the Council on Social Work Education. Active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California. A minimum of three years of post-licensure clinical experience delivering mental health services. Proven ability to conduct diagnostic assessments and develop effective treatment plans. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to build strong relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds. A steadfast commitment to cultural competence, ethical practice, and social justice ideals. Preferred Experience While not mandatory, preference will be given to candidates who have experience with specific therapeutic modalities or populations such as children and adolescents, veterans, or those experiencing substance use disorders. Familiarity with telehealth practices is a plus, given the remote nature of this position. Compensation and Benefits In recognition of your valuable contributions, we offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 78,000 to 115,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
