Business Services Technician

Opportunity Overview Business Services Technician Level 1 (6-month contract, W‑2). Responsible for multiple administrative assistance functions, maintenance of records, data retrieval and financial reporting, including budget, variance and cost tracking, month‑end close, and ensuring compliance with Sarbanes‑Oxley. May perform limited accounts payable activities, inventory activities, or indicator tracking. Reports to onsite Manager. Responsibilities Create purchase orders focused on commercial content and risk mitigation Process work cycles and MR‑11 transactions Support the Jira service desk Perform month‑end activities Resolve vendor issues Handle and respond to urgent requests Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Business Management, IT, Accounts Payable, and Integrated Supply Chain Maintain compliance with company SOX controls and procedures Participate in special projects and perform special assignments Qualifications High School Diploma / GED required Process improvement mindset General understanding of Procurement and Accounting 1–2 years in Procurement, Accounts Payable or another administrative finance responsibility Preferred: SAP experience Benefits Comprehensive Health and Income Protection Benefits 401(k) Savings Plan Paid Vacations for qualifying positions Base salary range $20.00/hr to $24.00/hr, dependent on experience, qualifications and skills.
