Registered Nurse Medical Surgical

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
  
  
• 
  Administer medications, including titration of drips such as heparin based on lab results.
  
  
• 
  Monitor and operate telehealth systems, including remote oversight by monitor techs.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with charge nurses, nurse aides, and PCTs to coordinate patient care activities.
  
  
• 
  Document patient data accurately and maintain compliance with hospital policies.
  
  
• 
  Respond to patient needs promptly and adapt to changing clinical situations.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Active, unexpired RN license required.
  
  
• 
  Must hold current BLS and NIHSS certifications.
  
  
• 
  Experience in Medical Surgical nursing preferred.
  
  
• 
  Ability to work within a 30-mile radius, complying with travel and licensing regulations.
  
  
• 
  Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  
  
• 
  Strong clinical assessment and patient management skills.
