Veterinary Associates of North Branford is looking to add a compassionate and skilled part‑time Veterinary Technician to our team. Veterinary Technician Veterinary Associates of North Branford, North Branford, CT Pay: $18.00 – $24.00 per hour, based on experience. WHAT YOU'LL DO Provide compassionate care to pet patients and their loved ones Keep accurate medical records in accordance with hospital policy Prepare and maintain exam rooms and treatment areas Perform physical assessments and record observations Keep animals calm during procedures (including calm tactics) Prepare estimates and discuss financial commitments with clients Explain necessary follow‑up and home‑care instructions Stock clinic treatment areas and inform inventory manager when supplies are needed Assist the Veterinarian in medical, surgical, and dental procedures (blood draws, anesthesia, monitoring, fluids) Care for surgical materials and maintain operating room readiness Our Comprehensive benefit package includes: 401(k) with a company match up to 4% after 6 months of employment Flexible scheduling Continuing education allowance and professional development support Mental health resources Company paid bonding leave or applicable state‑provided bonding leave Perks for Your Pets Too!
