Good Shepherd Health Care System remains one of the largest employers in the area and plays a pivotal role in the region's continued growth.Responsibilities: A Hospitalist is responsible for assuming primary responsibility for inpatients admitted to the Good Shepherd Medical Center by the Emergency Department as well as those inpatients assigned to the Hospitalist after being admitted by other physicians. The Hospitalist retains this responsibility until discharge. Other duties include referrals, consultations, and assignment of inpatients to other physicians if the need for appropriate specialties arises, along with other duties typically performed by Hospitalists.Qualifications: Current, unrestricted medical license in OR (or the ability to obtain) OR DEA licensure (or the ability to obtain) Minimum two years of experience preferred Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and other specialty specific certifications as required Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Employer
