Procurement Specialist / Buyer Direct Hire
LHH is seeking a Procurement Specialist / Buyer for a direct-hire opportunity with a growing company near Euclid, Ohio. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented procurement professional with experience in purchasing, sourcing, supplier management, and ERP systems who is looking for long-term career growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and vendor communications
- Source materials, products, and services while ensuring cost-effective purchasing and on-time delivery
- Maintain accurate procurement records within ERP systems such as Coupa, JDE, or similar platforms
- Collaborate with internal departments to support operational purchasing needs
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to pricing, quality, and delivery
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field required
- 3+ years of procurement, purchasing, buying, or supply chain experience
- Experience with Coupa, JDE, SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems preferred
- Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
