Registered Nurse – Ambulatory Infusion

Schedule: Days, varied. No weekends.

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 40

Requirements:

• Current unencumbered state RN license
• Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification
• AHA ACLS Provider Card
• IV therapy experience preferred
• PICC and midline proficiency preferred
• Chemotherapy experience preferred
• Infusion (CRNI) and/or Oncology (OCN) national certification preferred
• Preference for applicants with current ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy-Immunotherapy certification
• Preference for applicants with current outpatient infusion experience

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide expert care to patients receiving infusion therapy for various conditions, including cancer and autoimmune diseases.
• Administer medications and monitor patients for reactions and side effects.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans and self-care techniques.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to patient care and treatment.
• Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols.
