LanceSoft is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room Director for a travel nursing job in Colton, California.

Job Description & Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

Licensure

• Active California Registered Nurse (RN) License

Certifications

• BLS (AHA Healthcare Provider)
• Operating Room Nursing Course OR
• CNOR (Certified Nurse Operating Room) certification within 6 months of hire

Experience

• Minimum 4 years of RN experience in an acute care hospital
• At least 2 years of Peri-Operative Services experience in one or more of the following:
  • Operating Room (OR)
  • Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
  • Same Day Surgery
• Leadership experience including either:
  • 1 year as a Nurse Manager , OR
  • 2 years as a full-scope Nursing Supervisor overseeing professional nursing staff
• Leadership responsibilities must include:
  • Hiring
  • Performance evaluations
  • Employee discipline and counseling
  • Daily operational oversight
• Leadership and clinical experience may be concurrent

Education

• Bachelor's degree in one of the following:
  • Nursing
  • Business Administration
  • Healthcare Administration
  • Other closely related field
