Overview Elevate Academy is a co‑ed, residential treatment program for adolescents specializing in trauma, mood disorders, adoption and attachment issues, and similar diagnoses. Students have faced adverse experiences that have negatively impacted their physical, emotional, and social wellbeing. We strive to build their confidence, resiliency, and empower them to take charge of a thriving future. Elevate Academy is part of The Heritage Community, a non‑profit 501(c)(3) treatment program located in Provo, UT, founded in 1984. Schedule Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday 7:00 am – 3:30 pm Sunday rotation – one Sunday every four weeks, 8:00 am – 10:00 pm One extra shift per week (determined with manager) to meet full‑time hours Knowledge and Abilities Demonstrated ability to successfully coach and mentor adolescents. Strong engagement skills and an attuned caregiver approach. Assertiveness to continually improve knowledge of neurodiversity and other mental‑health diagnoses. Good energy and ability to work in all weather conditions. Engaging and empathetic character, with a balance of tenacity and determination. Problem‑solving, decisiveness, and teamwork skills. Proficient communication and interpersonal skills. Management and leadership skills – using passion and vision to teach and steward both students and employees. Good computer knowledge and professional writing skills. Duties and Responsibilities Develop close, personal, and emotionally supportive relationships with the students on your home and coach them in their treatment progression. Act as a reliable mediator and intervene in conflicts, providing additional support and guidance when needed. Implement clinical treatment plans as outlined by the Treatment Team and ensure team members understand expectations. Participate in a wide variety of activities with the students, encouraging and supporting them to develop skills (e.g., sports, bike riding, rock climbing, hiking, swimming, leisure activities, and hobbies). Assist the Home Manager with leadership duties: training Coaches, handling operational components of the assigned shift, ensuring program consistency, and applying treatment care objectives in a high‑quality manner. Consistently touch base with team members for performance tracking and development, reporting any necessary updates to the Home Manager. Attend weekly Treatment Team meetings, prepared to report on the therapeutic progression of the students and collaborate with clinical Therapists and other Treatment Team members to develop strategic goals and objectives for each student.
