The Residential Caregiver provides essential support to elderly individuals as part of a dedicated home care team. This role focuses on enhancing the quality of life through personal care, companionship, and ensuring a safe living environment with flexible scheduling options including day, night, and weekend shifts.
Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care tasks and daily living activities
- Administer medication as directed and monitor health status
- Perform housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients
- Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies
- Maintain clear communication with clients, families, and the home care team
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in caregiving
- Strong patient care and communication skills
- Empathy and patience in supporting elderly clients
- Basic knowledge of nutrition relevant to senior care
- Awareness of safety protocols in a home environment
