Key Responsibilities

• Upon physician referral, perform evaluations of speech, hearing, and swallowing difficulties, make preliminary diagnoses, and develop treatment plans
• Determine the need for individual or group therapy for each client
• Document client progress throughout the course of treatment
• Assist students in clinical rotations in meeting their objectives
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech and Language Pathology
• Licensed by the Oklahoma State Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association required upon hire
• Knowledge of the normal development of speech, language, and hearing
• Ability to perform diagnostic tests for communication disorders and formulate treatment plans
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact in a patient and encouraging manner with clients, co-workers, and customers
