Advanced Practice Nurse- Part Time

This is an exciting opportunity to bring preventive and primary health services directly into the community, expanding access to care for residents throughout Burlington County, including rural and medically underserved communities. Working as part of a multidisciplinary public health team, the Advanced Practice Nurse will provide high-quality, patient-centered clinical care in a mobile setting while supporting the Department's mission to improve the health and well-being of all residents. Primary Responsibilities Provide comprehensive health assessments, physical examinations, and preventive health services. Administer immunizations and other preventive services. Provide health education, counseling, and referrals to community resources. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, health educators, social workers, and community partners to coordinate patient care. Maintain accurate electronic medical records and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards. Participate in community outreach events and health promotion initiatives throughout Burlington County. During winter months, assist with other health department clinics. Requirements Current and valid certification as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, issued by the New Jersey Board of Nursing, in an advanced practice category relevant to the position as determined by the appointing authority (e.g., adult health, community health, family health, gerontology, obstetrics/gynecology, pediatrics, or psychiatric/mental health.) #J-18808-Ljbffr NJAC Foundation
