Job Description: Ardenland Marketing Director General Job Description We’re looking for someone eager to be our Marketing Director/Content Creator. This is an integral, full‑time, in‑person role here at Ardenland, a concert promotion company based in Jackson, Mississippi. You will lead marketing efforts for all ardenland produced events. Ardenland produces hundreds of concerts throughout Mississippi, operates and books multiple venues throughout the state, and produces multiple festivals throughout the South. Ideally looking for a music industry professional with experience in marketing, customer relationship management, and data analysis. Marketing Director Responsibilities Manage all ardenland event and concert marketing, including social media accounts (META/TikTok), press releases and email blasts (Mailchimp) Responsible for radio, TV, print and social media advertising Keep websites (Squarespace, Wordpress) up to date, including event calendar, concerts, press, blogs, etc. Provide monthly analytics on Website, Meta, Google, and Mailchimp for each venue/festival Create an annual marketing strategy for each venue yearly adjusted from the previous year's analytics Develop and maintain marketing to showcase ardenland as a premier concert promotion company in Mississippi and throughout the southeast Develop and maintain a brand and “voice” for each venue/event/festival and stay consistent throughout all marketing Design posters, rack cards, print ads and other necessary material Develop, manage and promote merchandise Communicate marketing strategy with tour managers and localize all press assets Establish and maintain a Street Team Event project budget tracking Support and highlight our sponsors and clients Necessary Qualifications Ability to handle interruptions, maintain focus on tasks, and produce timely, accurate work with a positive and professional attitude Ability to multi-task in an extremely fast-paced environment Ability to work as part of a team Ability to write copy for and send out press releases Efficient in Adobe Creative Suite Efficient in Meta Business Suite Experience with Canva Experience with Squarespace & Wordpress Experience with Mailchimp Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Google Suites, DropBox Preferred Qualifications Experience and/or interest in the live music industry In-depth and diverse knowledge of music Ability to listen and follow directions Creative self-starter with an ability to think outside the box Excellent project management and organizational skills Ability and willingness to work evenings, weekends, and flextime when necessary. Ability and willingness to travel (car and/or plane) A demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in an organized manner that involves a variety of clients/partners and many moving parts Desire and ability to engage in discussions at the workplace, including but not limited to engaging in training, workshops, and critical discussions for how we can better serve each other and our community Represent the mission, values, and philosophy to staff, community partners, and the public by modeling and implementing values of equity and inclusion in decision-making and daily work Tech-savvy Know how or willing to learn how to have fun at your job The Job Full‑time based on 40 hours per week (although events and clients’ need can sometimes extend beyond this) We offer paid holidays, sick days, vacation days after 60+ days of employment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
