Pay: $18-$24/hour, based on experience

Lewis Ford Savannah, we're looking for a service cashier and appointment coordinator to join our team and serve as one of the initial points of contact for our service customers.

The primary responsibilities of this position will focus on the service cashier role, with secondary responsibilities including providing coverage for our service appointment coordinators as needed.

This is a fast-paced, team-oriented position ideal for individuals who enjoy helping others, staying organized, and keeping things moving – ensuring each customer feels informed, respected, and confident in the care of their vehicle. 

What You'll Do:

Primary Duties:

• Serve as the liaison between the service department and customers

• Collect service payments and close service invoices

• Assist the service department with loaner vehicle fleet as well as loaner vehicle prep, check-out, and check-in

Secondary Duties:

• Receive and respond to a high volume of inbound calls and online inquiries in a prompt, professional, and courteous manner

• Identify customer needs and schedule or modify service appointments

• Maintain an online appointment scheduler

What We're Looking For:

• Prior automotive BDC, service, cashier, or call center experience preferred

• Computer proficiency, with experience using computer tracking systems for calls and appointments preferred

• Excellent communication skills, organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

• Positive attitude with an upbeat, outgoing personality and dedication to exceptional customer service

• Dependable and compliant in following an assigned work schedule, which will include some overtime and occasional scheduled Saturdays 

• At least 19 years of age with a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record
