Job Details Specialty: Labor & Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse Employment Type: Travel Nursing Job Location: Philadelphia, PA 19140 Healthcare Setting: Maternity unit with antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn care Start Date: 09/14/2026 End Date: 12/15/2026 Contract Length: 13 weeks Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Shift Duration: 12-hour night shifts Shifts Per Week: 3 Weekly Hours: 36 Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020 - $2,130 Weekend Requirement: 1-2 weekends per month Holiday Requirement: No holidays Float: May float to L&D and NICU Job Requirements At least 1 year of Registered Nurse (RN) experience required Current active RN license required BLS certification required NRP certification required Fetal monitoring experience required Experience in both Labor & Delivery and NICU required Strong background in postpartum care, baby care, and antepartum care, including antepartum monitoring Ability to work overnight shifts and adapt to a fast-paced, team-based hospital environment Responsibilities Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to mothers, newborns, and families throughout the childbirth experience Support antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn patient care Monitor fetal status and respond appropriately to patient needs and changes in condition Deliver safe, family-centered maternity care in collaboration with physicians, advanced practice providers, and support staff Assist with newborn care and postpartum recovery support Float as needed between L&D and NICU Promote patient safety, education, and positive birth experiences Maintain professional communication and contribute to a supportive, multidisciplinary healthcare team Apply now to join this rewarding travel nursing job in Philadelphia and make a meaningful impact in maternal and newborn care.
