Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Design Engineer, you will work closely with project managers and senior engineers to support the planning, design, and execution of land development projects. Responsibilities include:
- Designing stormwater management systems for both new and existing developments.
- Preparing grading and drainage designs for a variety of site development projects.
- Developing plans for roads, retaining walls, swales, and stormwater management facilities.
- Assisting in the preparation of engineering calculations, technical reports, and construction plans.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary project teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
- Supporting project execution while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and design standards.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities with sound engineering judgment.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities.
- A collaborative mindset and proven ability to work successfully within a team environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with AutoCAD is highly desirable.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, preferably with a focus on Land Development.
- 1-2 years of experience in grading, drainage, and site development design.
- Experience working in an engineering consulting or construction-related environment preferred.
