Site / Location Wentworth‑Douglass Hospital, Mass General Brigham – Dover, NH (789 Central Avenue) Job Summary This per‑diem Radioactive Treatment Position is located at Wentworth‑Douglass Hospital in Dover, NH. New graduates are welcome, and flexible per‑diem hours are available. Patient Care Yes – the position requires direct patient care. Essential Functions Administers radiation therapy treatments accurately and safely according to departmental policies and procedures. Positions and immobilizes patients according to the treatment plan, evaluates images per standard guidelines, and assists in resolving setup issues. Utilizes the Quality Assurance (QA) program to encompass all aspects of treatment delivery and quality patient care. Demonstrates knowledge and skills to meet age‑specific requirements, including infants through elderly patients. Teaches student therapists and departmental observers. Qualifications Education Associate's Degree in Radiation Therapy required; Bachelor's Degree preferred. Licenses & Credentials NH Radiation Therapist license required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification required within 1 year of program completion. Experience 0‑1 year clinical internship in a major cancer center preferred. Experience cannot be substituted for a degree. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Efficient knowledge of equipment operation, tools and procedures specific to the assigned area, with effective troubleshooting skills. Establishes and maintains effective interpersonal professional relationships with physicians, management, peers, patients and families. Strong customer service skills, including appropriate judgment, independent thinking and creativity in resolving issues and conflicts. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential patient information. Proficiency in using Radiation Oncology Information Systems and related Hospital Information Systems (e.g., Mosaiq, ARIA, EPIC, Vision RT, Eclipse).
