Position: Travel:Ultrasonographer / Radiology - NIGHTS
Position Information:
Start: ASAP
Shift: Friday, Saturday & Sunday (3, 12 hour shifts)
7pm to 7am, with no call
REQUIREMENTS:
ARDMS certification or registry eligible
BLS (AHA OR ARC)
Vascular and General experience
Scrub color Any color, other than Hunter Green or Caribbean Blue
Patient ratio 8-10 in the 12 hour shift
The Ultrasound Technician is a graduate of an accredited AMA school and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT), maintains a State License as a general radiographer, and/or is a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS). The Ultrasound Technician is responsible for providing timely diagnostic services to both inpatient and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: abdominal, pelvic, (gynecological & obstetrical), and transvaginal sonograms. Additionally is proficient at scanning small parts (thyroid, breast & scrotom) along with ultrasound-guided biopsies, drainage, thoracentesis, paracentesis and aspirations.
