Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: Psychiatric \n Discipline: RN \n Start Date: ASAP \n Duration: 13 weeks \n 36 hours per week \n Shift: 12 hours, nights \n Employment Type: Travel \n \n Mental Health Registered Nurse (RN) Job Summary/Purpose\n The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing safe, age-appropriate care to patients, utilizing the nursing process while adhering to the standards set by the Oregon State Board of Nursing. The RN will assess, evaluate, and intervene in the bio-psychosocial aspects of late adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients experiencing acute mental or emotional disturbances, as well as provide support to their significant others. Department Description\n The Mental Health teams deliver a comprehensive range of professional mental health services through a collaborative approach involving skilled psychiatrists, psychologists, nurse practitioners, and licensed clinical social workers. Experience/Education/Qualifications\n \n Current unencumbered Oregon RN license is required upon submission. \n Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification is required. \n A minimum of one year of recent experience in an acute care setting is preferred. \n Shift Information\n This position will require night shifts from 1900 to 0730, including every third weekend.
