Sports Card Specialist - Full-Time

Are sports cards your passion? We're looking for someone who understands the hobby and enjoys helping collectors build their collections.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with product recommendations, purchases, and hobby-related questions.
• Maintain a high level of knowledge of the sports card market, including current products, athletes, grading trends, and hobby news.
• Receive, organize, price, and merchandise inventory to ensure the sales floor remains clean, organized, and fully stocked.
• Assist with buying, evaluating, and processing sports card collections, including researching market values and preparing inventory for sale.
• Accurately sort, identify, and price singles, sealed products.
• Assist with inventory management, product organization, and general store operations.
• Support in-store events, trade nights, and other customer engagement opportunities.
• Stay informed on new product releases, market trends, and industry developments.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a professional, organized, and customer-focused retail environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support the overall success of the business.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of the sports card hobby and current products.
• Familiarity with major sports including baseball, football, basketball, soccer, and other collectible markets.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail setting.
• Weekend and occasional evening availability.
• Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.

Preferred Experience

• Experience buying, selling, or trading sports cards and memorabilia.
• Familiarity with grading companies such as PSA, BGS, and SGC.
• Experience using hobby marketplaces such as eBay, Card Ladder, or other pricing platforms.
• Comfortable using point-of-sale and inventory management systems.
• Experience with live selling, breaking, or social media content is a plus.
