Caregiver / Home Health Aide

In-Home Care & Assisted Living

Job Description - Full- Time and Part-Time hours available

Provided compassionate, client-centered care to seniors and individuals needing assistance with daily living activities in both private homes and assisted living environments. Assisted clients with personal care, household tasks, companionship, and daily routines while promoting independence, dignity, and quality of life. 

Key Responsibilities

• Provide companion care and emotional support to clients.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, showers, sponge baths, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene.
• Perform light housekeeping duties, including dusting, vacuuming, dishes, and maintaining a clean living environment.
• Organized living spaces, personal belongings, medications, and household items.
• Completed laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and putting away clothing and linens.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assisted clients with eating when necessary.
• Run errands, including grocery shopping, prescription pickup, and transportation to appointments.
• Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation while ensuring safety.
• Monitor changes in clients' physical and emotional well-being and reported concerns to family members or supervisors.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and follow care plans and safety procedures.
• Foster positive relationships with clients and families through compassionate and respectful care.

Qualifications:

• Experience providing in-home care, assisted living support, or caregiving services.
• Knowledge of personal care assistance and activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain client confidentiality and professionalism.
• Dependable, compassionate, and patient-centered approach to care.
• Ability to lift, transfer, and assist clients safely.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation preferred, and up-to-date auto insurance
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
