About the Position

Job Title: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 16 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum of 2 years preferred License: Valid State License required Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, BLS, NRP Must-Have: - Expert experience with sterile vaginal exams and triage - EPIC experience required - Open to working weekends and holidays Description: We are seeking a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse with strong expertise in clinical skills. Candidates must have experience performing sterile vaginal exams independently without supervision. ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, BLS, and NRP certifications are required. The job involves handling high-risk deliveries and understating proper labor protocols. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with a patient ratio of 1:2. Flexibility to float between units may be required to support department needs. Applicants may be asked to work additional shifts to meet unit requirements. Traveling nurses are expected to submit all requests for time off upfront. The unit provides comprehensive care for labor and delivery patients, including support for high-risk cases. A variety of interdisciplinary services are available to assist with patient care needs. The position involves working with neonates, adolescents, and adults in a dynamic environment.
