Staff Software Engineer

Job Description Location: Bedford, Ma; Hybrid; Remote in AL, FL, GA, MA, MI, MO, NC, NH, OH, OK, TN, TX, WI, WV This Role As a Staff Software Engineer at LogixHealth, you will work with a globally distributed team of engineers to design and build cutting edge solutions that directly improve the healthcare industry. Key Responsibilities Lead and contribute to the creation of a scalable application platform for delivering complex and challenging projects across software and data. Design and build cloud-native software using industry leading practices and tools. Own building and shipping new features across all levels of the stack - frontend and backend. Write high-quality, testable, long-term maintainable, and performant code. Build monitoring and observability to understand system performance and user behavior to make informed decisions. Balance tradeoffs to meet short-term needs while investing in long-term foundation. Provide technical leadership to key stakeholders, proactively communicating project details and development progress. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the duties. 8+ years software engineering experience 3+ years in a senior, staff or principal engineer role Experience designing and building cloud-native solutions (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform) Expertise with more than one of PostgreSQL, Redis, gRPC, GraphQL, messaging systems (Kafka, SQS) Experience leading projects within a team and across teams Azure experience Strong programming skills in C#, .Net Good programming skills in one or more of Go, NodeJS, Python, Java Strong programming skills in one or more of TypeScript, Angular, React Strong understanding how to leverage unit, integration and E2E test automation as part of the software development lifecycle Expert knowledge in architecting, designing and implementing software solutions to serve the needs of our business processes and end-to-end data systems Ability to keep security, maintainability, and scalability in mind with the solutions built Excellent interpersonal communication skills and an aptitude for continued learning Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedural manuals Passion for mentoring and guiding others Strong written and verbal communication skills Preferred Experience with native development on iOS and Android Experience with UX principles and application performance optimization Experience with observability tools (Azure Monitor, Datadog, Grafana) Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Pulumi, cloud‑specific IaC tools) Experience with one or more CNCF projects Experience designing and implementing infrastructure security and governance platform adhering to compliance standards (HIPPA, SOC 2) Benefits at LogixHealth We offer a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental and vision, 401(k), PTO, paid holidays, life and disability insurance, on‑site fitness center and company‑wide social events.
